Jasper Lions Club Rodeo
The Jasper Lions Benefit Rodeo is the “Grand Daddy” of East Texas Rodeos and has been bringing top entertainment to our area since 1947. This is the largest project of the Jasper Lions Club and as a PRCA rodeo, this four day competition attracts the top cowboys. The week starts off with trail rides from different corners of the county that converge into a parade through downtown Jasper. Rodeo fans then head to the Jasper Lions concession stand for a bite to eat and drinks before finding their seats in a totally covered all weather arena.

Christmas in the Park
An annual holiday tradition that takes place in the heart of downtown Jasper, Texas along the banks of Sandy Creek Park. A vision of the City of Jasper, this event was created and patterned after the Festival of Lights event in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Utilizing the experience and expertise of an established 85 year old holiday event, the City of Jasper sought  to establish a similar event using the natural park setting.
